Rocky Branch Resort is your perfect home-base for some of the very best fishing, hiking and mountain biking in Arkansas. We are located next to Rocky Branch Marina and Recreation area and are minutes from Hobbs State Park and War Eagle Mill.
Hobbs State Park
Hobbs State Park is Arkansas’s largest state park, spanning a 12,054-acre tract of Ozark landscape along the southern shore of Beaver Lake. The park includes a 52-mile trail system with hiking, mountain biking, and horseback riding trails.. The visitor center includes exhibits about the park’s natural resources, limestone landscape, and history.
Rocky Branch Recreation Area and Campground is just down the street from the resort. It has swimming, camp sites, picnic areas, and public boat ramp with parking area.
The Rocky Branch Marina is just beyond the park and has another boat launch. It is a full-service marina with boat repair and sales.
Outdoor Shooting range
Hobbs State Park offers a renovated Shooting Range near the intersection of State Hwy 12 and 303 North. The range has 5 shooting lanes, including one lane designed for wheelchair use and is free for the public to use. The park provides target holders that can be positioned at 25, 50, 75, or 100 yards. The shooting range is designed for rifles and handguns but is not designed for shotgun use.The hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday.
Beaver Lake is known for its large and small-mouth bass, crappie, bream, white bass, stripers, and channel or spoon-bill catfish. Nearby War Eagle Creek is the perfect place to catch all sorts of fish and spend some quality time on the banks of the river. We are happy to connect you to a local fishing guide for your trip.
